Phased Approach
Phase I Elements
Phase I typically focuses on gaining an understanding of a company’s “who, what, where, when and why”. This is accomplished first through a Requirements Assessment. Whether this assessment looks at the company’s systems, operation or the entire business, information gathered here becomes the foundation of the entire project. Complementing the assessment, Education & Training is often performed to ensure all individuals involved in the project have a common understanding of terms and concepts. This education process can be further enhanced through facilitating Application Workshops. These workshops allow key personnel to put their intimate knowledge of their company to work. The result of these steps is often the identification of “quick-hitting” areas of improvement. This Short Term Improvement Identification/Recommendation process has the ability to provide short-term payback that can be used to fund the project. Phase II Elements
Phase II is generally where the company’s specific needs are addressed in detail. Detailed Implementation Planning provides a finite outline for the implementation of a systems or operational improvements program. This plan considers all tasks, resources and costs involved in implementation. In addition to the above, this is typically the time when Short Term Improvements are implemented.
